Summer at the Center: Lost in Place

Jun 9, 2018

As issues of migration, ethnicity, culture and spirituality consume our world “Lost in Place,” feels especially timely. Humans cultivate a deep feeling of belonging and personal narrative by identifying and memorializing the places they arrive from, return to, and draw memories from.

However, if we have no tangible item to attach to a memory, how do we not forget? What memories do we take with us and what do we leave behind? Filled with quirky interludes featuring shoes, suitcases, trunks, typewriters, birdcages, and juggling balls, this theatrical evening takes the audience on a rich and thought-provoking journey.
