An interactive three-part series to learn sushi assembling secrets, ways to abandon the Kraft crutch and become a mac n’ cheese connoisseur as well as how to become “chef garde manger” of charcuterie

WHAT: On select Tuesdays, beginning February 27, ViewHouse Littleton invites guests to experience a Tasty Tutorial with Executive Chef Jose Guerrero; recipient of Douglas County’s People’s Choice Award and recent cast member on top Food Network shows. Each month, Chef Jose leads guests through the experience of creating dishes inspired by ViewHouse favorites—utilizing fresh, organic, and local ingredients he will offer unique twists on macaroni and cheese, homemade sushi, and creative charcuterie boards—encouraging them to take their new found talents to “their” house. The event begins at 6 p.m., where guests can mix and mingle and order drinks, the cooking demos starts at 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy small bites, specifically designed around each tutorial’s theme, as well as pairings from Francis Ford Coppola Winery and ViewHouse’s Sons of 1858 craft beer. All guests will receive recipe cards detailing the dishes created, and a complimentary takeaway gift for recreating the dish at home. Attendees of each Tasty Tutorial will also be automatically entered into a cookware giveaway.

Chef Guerrero features mac & cheese four ways, teaching guests how to make Show stopping Blue Crab Mac & Cheese, Buffalo Mac & Cheese, BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, and Jalapeno Popper Mac & Cheese

• Tuesday, March 20 | Sushi Rollin’ Tips & Tricks
Chef Guerrero teaches attendees how to make Uramaki (rice on the outside of the roll), Temaki (a hand roll), and Hosomaki (rice on the inside of the roll)

• Tuesday, April 24 | Build-Your-Own Charcuterie Board
Chef Guerrero shows guests how to build a Vegetarian Board featuring fresh and pickled produce, a European Board highlighting unique cheeses, and a Worldly Board with ingredients taken from a variety of ethnic flavor profiles
