“Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance” - “The Lion King”

The Simba Claus, King of the Jingle is a delicate balance of sketch comedy and a parody of The Lion King mashed up with the story of Santa Claus. Bovine Metropolis retells the tale of The Lion King. Instead of Mufasa being a lion, he is everyone’s favorite elf, Santa. His son, Simba, instead of becoming King of the jungle upon his father’s death, must become the King of the jingle, the one true Santa...The Simba Claus.

Holidays are big game for the Bovine’s sketch team. They take take aim at Black Tuesday, Balthazar, and the Maccabees. The show is a hilarious ride of absurd comedy and craziness. This show isn’t a bah-humbug-Santa-bashing-Grinchy sneer at the holidays.

"This is a holiday show for people who like the holidays. What makes this show different is that it’s a modern, non-snarky show. The Simba Claus is a joyful, funny, modern look at the holidays.” ~ Eric Farone, Director
