Join Tom “Dr. Colorado” Noel for an exemplary tour of southern Colorado’s myriad colors from the comfort of a pair of historic trains. Our first jaunt is aboard the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad for a trip to Alamosa in the heart of the San Luis Valley. Next, we’re bound for the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, the country’s longest and highest steam narrow gauge excursion. On both, we’ll have the chance to enjoy autumn’s displays of color. Other highlights include the home of the Manassa Mauler and the winding course of the Rio Grande on its way to New Mexico.
Includes three nights’ lodging, bus and train transportation, guides, entrance fees and five meals including a welcome dinner.
