Ute Indian Museum Grand Opening

Join us for the reopening of History Colorado's Community Museum, Ute Indian Museum in Montrose, Colorado on June 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The expanded facility will include new exhibits will help make connections between past and contemporary Ute life and culture and the Ute peoples’ history of adaptation and persistence.

The expanded Museum will also include a Colorado White Pine timber structure, a patio with stunning views of the San Juan Mountains, beautiful curved walls and vibrant colors that represent Ute tribal identity and expanded rental spaces and will continue to be available to the community as a regional gathering place.
