WWI Film Series: War Horse
Mar 22, 2018
As a complement to our exhibition, WWI: Longmont & the Great War, enjoy a series of films that illustrate life during this era. All movies are specially paired with a signature cocktail, and galleries are open (5 – 9 pm) to enjoy for free with your film ticket.
At the outbreak of World War I, Joey, young Albert’s beloved horse, is sold to the Cavalry and shipped to France. He’s soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in no man’s land. Albert, though still not old enough to enlist, embarks on a treacherous mission to find Joey and bring him home.
