Lansberry

"A Love Letter to all those unsung talents that allows musicals to burn brighter..." - L.A. Times
Everything is on the line for seventeen dancers as they audition for a highly sought-after place in the chorus of a Broadway musical. Through this exhausting process, their stories and vulnerabilities are laid on the line as they ultimately come together and become one singular sensation! In a brilliant fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, the musical features one powerhouse number after another including “What I Did for Love, “One,” and “I Can Do That.” A Chorus Line remains as powerful today as it did when it took Broadway by storm over 40 years ago.

Genre: Musical Drama, Classical Broadway
Content: Appropriate for Young Adult - Adult Audiences
America/North_Dakota/Center

The Foreigner
By Larry Shue
Directed by Geoffrey Kent

“I laughed start to finish at one comic surprise after another.” – The New Yorker
Charlie Baker, a painfully shy Englishman, finds himself at a rural Georgia fishing lodge for a few days of peace and quiet. To save Charlie from having to speak to strangers, the local inhabitants are told that he’s a foreigner who can’t speak or understand a word of English. Soon they begin to share their deepest secrets with him, and Charlie must decide what to do with all of this information. The result is a hilarious look at secrets revealed, which explodes in a wildly funny climax. Winner of two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play, The Foreigner is the perfect mix of antic comedy and celebration of how someone unexpected can bring out the best in us.

Genre: Comedy
Content: Appropriate for Young Adult - Adult Audiences
America/North_Dakota/Center
