Bang Up to the Elephant! brings the beautiful turquoise oceans to Denver. Uniquely named with Victorian-era slang meaning “properly-done,” Bang Up to the Elephant! serves West Indies-inspired cuisine with clean, fresh ingredients, and no-joke spices and heat. The restaurant’s sultry but inviting atmosphere reconnects the outdoors indoors, like long-lost love-frisky dolphins.

Land-locked Denver islanders can find escape with freshly-cracked coconut cocktails and festive beach-shack-inspired foods -all within a tropical postcard moment. The unusual setting reflects the different approaches found in the restaurant’s scratch-made vegan offerings; vegetarians, omnivores, fruitarians, and airitarian will feel equally delighted by the unexpected and creative options. It’s as if the entire restaurant just landed, from some unknown outer-dimension, bringing along technicolor palm-trees swingin’ to quirky bird-song. Not to miss.

  • Additional Restaurant Info (Parking, Valet, etc): Walk on in and stay awhile. Reservations are available, but not really needed unless you’ve got a bunch of friends in tow. Private dining is available for events up to 250. We have a rooftop wave pool, with a white sand beach, that holds 60, but because of the altitude, it’s often frozen. Give us enough advance notice and we’ll get it going for you. We’re located on the East side of Pearl between 13th and 14th Avenues. Don’t you bring that silly horseless carriage to Cap Hill- We’ve got 56 places to secure your 56 bicycles, all located right next to the restaurant. We even have a happy little B-Cycle station located nearby. Otherwise, it’s good old-fashioned street parking.
