RARE, The Denver Steak Championships
Who doesn't love a thick, tender slice of Grade A prime beef? A steak town at its roots, Denver welcomes RARE, its first festival centered around the juicy cuts of the Wild West. For one evening, the best restaurants in the city will come together and dish up their highest quality steak bites paired perfectly with steak-worthy cocktails.

In partnership with The Denver Health Foundation, Meyer Natural Angus & Laura's Lean (offering all-natural humanely raised meats), RARE will serve as a one-of-a-kind competition among Denver's finest steakhouses. Pitted head-to-head, 20 of the region's most acclaimed steak purveyors will put their grilling expertise to the test as they vie for the title of Top Steak.

You can help decide which steak reigns supreme, as competitors aim to garner the most votes from a panel of professional judges and our festival attendees.

Chefs can try to win the hearts of the city's steak lovers with a tried-and-true classic in "Traditional Steak" category, or throw caution to the wind and get inventive in the "Creative Steak" category. To up the ante, all restaurants will enter a signature cocktail to complement their plates, because what's a great steak without something delicious to wash it down?

From the team that brings Denver TOP TACO and Chicken Fight!, RARE will be yet another culinary experience that features food, drink, and fun in one location for an evening sure to ignite all of your senses. Calling carnivores from across the state, get ready to sink your teeth into the juiciest evening of 2019 at Denver's own steak championships.

This is a 21+ event
1400 Curtis St. Denver, CO America/North_Dakota/Center
