Whether you're a local or visiting, why not learn about Colorado and the pioneers who founded our state. The foundation provides numerous historical and educational cemetery tours throughout the year. We put the fun in history! Many of our tours have actors reenacting these historic figures. Tours are open to family groups, private parties and the general public. The 280 acres of the Fairmount makes for the largest arboretum in Colorado as well as being a wildlife preserve. Fairmount has a vintage rose garden with roses dating back to the 15th century. Riverside Cemetery lies on 68 acres. It's Colorado's oldest operating cemetery becoming a cemetery two months before official Colorado state.
