  • Group Activities Description: Golden History Museums welcomes groups to each of its three facilities: the Astor House, an 1860s boarding house; the Clear Creek History Park, a two-acre historic interpretive park; and the Golden History Center, a modern museum with changing exhibitions. Just inside, the West Gallery is available for dining, seating, staging, or shelter on a stormy day.

The third annual Toby’s Pet Parade & Fair will be held in downtown Golden, CO to support Foothills Animal Shelter and the more than 8,300 dogs, cats and critters the Shelter cares for each year. Dress up your dog in their best costume...

Toby's Pet Parade & Fair <p>The third annual Toby’s Pet Parade &amp; Fair will be held in downtown Golden, CO to support Foothills Animal Shelter and the more than 8,300 dogs, cats and critters the Shelter cares for each year.<br /><br />Dress up your dog in their best costume and join us for a celebration to benefit Foothills Animal Shelter. From a pet costume parade and contests, to flyball and agility demos, to family-friendly games and activities, you’re sure to find something for everyone, all while helpi ng us raise critical funds to support the homeless pets at Foothills Animal Shelter!<br /><br />The Parade will begin at 9 am in Parfet Park and will continue onto Washington Avenue to 13th Street. The Parade will then go back down Washington Avenue to Parfet Park, where the Fair will be held until 2 pm.<br /><br />It is free to watch the Parade and attend the Fair, and only $20 to register your dog in the Parade! Register your pup at www.TobysPetParade.org.<br /><br />Explore family-friendly games, activities and vendors! For the kiddos, we’ll have face painting and games.
