A Confluence of Another Kind: American Indians of Early Denver
Enjoy a fall walking tour of Lower Downtown, learning about interactions between Arapaho people and white settlers in early Denver. Our LoDo tour highlights both, showing how the world around the confluence of Cherry Creek and the Platte River was changing in 1858–64. Imagine tipis at 15th and Blake or native delegations visiting Governor Evans at 14th and Arapahoe. After the tour, you’ll have the option of hopping onto an RTD bus to Tocabe, a traditional American Indian restaurant, returning downtown afterward. The stories are there to find, so let’s find them together.
America/North_Dakota/Center
