Fake Network News
FNN: Real issues. Biased Coverage.

This just in...some news should be fake. Luckily, savvy experts at Denver's own Bovine Metropolis Theater are stepping in to corner the market with their new, fully improvised show, “Fake Network News."

Performed in the style of Meet the Press, AC 360 and other cable news programs, FNN features interviews, recurring segments and round-table discussions between their fake news anchors and a ‘virtual who’s who’ of counterfeit experts, pundits and commentators.

“The fakest of the fake. (@BovineMetro) Sad. So-called journalists make up all the facts. PATHETIC. Only I can do that. LOSERS.”
~President Trump (note: this is a fake tweet, or IS it?)

While the Pundits might be fake, the issues are utterly real and provided by the audience. Gun control? Sure. Immigration? Why not. The ethics of pet squirrel fashion shows? Um, ok. The anchors, reporters and commentators at FNN are chomping at the bit to give you all the fake news you deserve. The FNN production staff is going rogue, unscripted and improvised. It’s all fabricated on the spot, and in front of your lying eyes.

“Do not see this show. It is false American propaganda and lies. Unfunny. Read smart tweets from our puppet, your GREAT AMERICAN President.”
~ Vladimir Putin (note: this is a fake quote, or IS it?)

Share your ideas with the glorious hairdos and buffoonish news anchors. Bring an open mind and a willingness to laugh at the absurdities inherent in today’s political landscape.

“Fake Network News” premiers Wednesday nights at 7:30, opening on March 29th and running through May 17th. All shows are for all ages but will be dealing with adult, political content.

Tickets: $10 online*, $12 at the door, and $5 at the door for College Students with valid ID (space permitting).
America/North_Dakota/Center

Heirs of Hogwarts
Apparate Over for a Night of Magic!

Send out your owls! Hogwarts has been rebuilt and the future generations of magical children are all excited for a year at Hogwarts.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has been destroyed, there surely is no evil left to threaten the Heirs of Hogwarts... or is there?

Experience a loving homage to the world of Harry Potter. With completely improvised story lines, this is a heartfelt send-up to the universe created by J.K. Rowling and is the only Harry Potter themed improv show in Denver. Imagine a love letter in the form of spoof, and that’s what witches, wizards and muggles will be enjoying Friday Nights at 8:00 p.m. at the Bovine Metropolis Theater.

And just like a Bag of Bertie Bott’s every flavored beans, “Anything can happen,” says Gryffindor and Dramaturg, Kent Welborn. “In improv anything can happen, and then in the magical world of Harry Potter anything can happen double.”

All the things you love about the Harry Potter universe will be displayed on stage: charms, Hogwarts houses, transfiguration, and magical creatures. Returning to Hogwarts has never been this funny. “Heirs of Hogwarts: An Improvised Adventure” is a loving fan-fiction parody of an entire year at Hogwarts.

Expect, “Magic,” says Welborn.

Come by portkey, broom, or apparition to the Bovine Metropolis Theater, to revel in all things magical. Your presence is requested, by the professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, first years are reminded not to do magic outside of school.

Plays Friday or Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. through September 2017. See drop menu for date options. All Shows are for all ages.

Tickets: $18 online*, $20 at the door, and $5 at door for College Students with valid ID (space permitting).
When you buy tickets to Heirs of Hogwarts at 8:00 p.m. you get admission (and more laughs) to "On The Spot" at 10:15 for FREE!
America/North_Dakota/Center
