100 Navajo Rugs, A Sale and Silent Auction <p>This is one of the longest running sales and auctions of contemporary and antique Navajo weaving in the country. “100 Navajo Rugs,” was started in 1985 to raise money for the preservation and restoration of the Museum’s Navajo weaving collections, one of the finest in the world. </p> <p>Special features of the event include a free lecture on the history of Navajo weaving and the Navajo people at 1 p.m. by Jackson Clark, owner of Toh-Atin Gallery, one of the country's leading galleries of Native American art. Also, Clark will provide free evaluations of your weavings from 10 am until 4 pm. Ben Leroux, Navajo weaving repair expert will offer free estimates for cleaning and repairing your Navajo rugs.</p> America/North_Dakota/Center
