OUR STORY
The oldest remaining structure in Denver’s iconic Union Station neighborhood, historic Hose House No. 1 was one of the first fire stations in Denver. This fire station preceded paid City of Denver fire departments and began as a volunteer fire station in 1881. Now, it has been lovingly restored and re-imagined as an iconic, inclusive kitchen and bar.

Located in the heart of the newly thriving Union Station neighborhood, Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar is an icon for its history and legacy. This neighborhood, formerly known as The Bottoms represents both Denver’s oldest and newest districts and Woodie Fisher serves as a metaphor for the City of Denver and the Bottom’s history
