McGregor Square’s expansive food hall will be serving a special menu of ghoulish yet delicious cocktails for the entire month of October! Plus, Milepost Zero will be hosting a Haunted Happy Hour every Monday and Tuesday in October, where guests can enjoy $2 off the specialty Halloween cocktails and $2 of all draft beers served from the bar. Spooky season is once again taking over Dairy Block with the Drink-or-Treat Cocktail Experience, where guests are invited to explore the LoDo micro-district to sip terrifyingly delicious cocktails inspired by favorite horror movies. Open to those 21 and older, the spooky and sweet cocktails poured during Drink-or-Treat 2024 will include libations from Blanchard Family Wines, Seven Grand, Kachina Cantina, Denver Milk Market, Poka Lola Social Club, Deviation Distilling and Westbound & Down Brewing Company.

Poka Muah Ha Ha

Each October, in the spirit of Halloween, Poka Lola transforms into its ghoulish doppelganger, Poka Muah Ha Ha. Its classy interior and drink menu undergo metamorphosis, featuring a collection of limited-edition beverages and Halloween décor, available only during October. Each carefully crafted cocktail is inspired by the “dark side” of the season, showcasing savory, rich and bold flavor combinations.

Golden Ghosts & Spirits Haunted Pub Crawl

The promise of gold brought many people to nearby Golden. Few left with riches. Most left empty-handed. And some never left at all! Spend an evening exploring historic Golden in search of those who refuse to rest. Tours run about 2.5 hours and begin and end at pubs in Downtown Golden, with one stop halfway through for a refresher. One drink is included at the starting point (Goosetown Station). Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
Elitch Garden's Fright Fest

Fun by day, fright by night! Take a trip to Elitch Gardens for Colorado's largest Halloween event! From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., kiddos can enjoy free candy, participate in Halloween-themed challenges and play on their favorite theme park rides. After 6 p.m., the Fright By Night begins. Guests can enjoy all their favorite theme park rides in the dark, dare to enter the haunted houses and watch their back for the nightmarish creatures lurking around every corner.
13th Floor Haunted House

Hailed by Fangoria Magazine as "the #1 scariest haunted attraction in the U.S.," the 13th Floor Haunted House takes guests through not one but THREE frightening tours of horror. This year's attractions include "Crimson Night" (where you'll come face to face with Sanguis Rex, loyal servant to the Blood Queen), "Macabre" (a secluded forest cabin where a twisted taxidermist creates horrifying human-animal hybrids that line the walls) and "Nautical Nightmare" (a watery world haunted by Captain Rust Hook, feared scourge of the seas). For more spooky fun, stop by The Sacred Skull: A Tiki Tarot Bar, The Attic Secret Bar or The Piggy Bank Shot Spot for themed cocktails and other drinks, try your hand at axe throwing, attack the undead at the Graveyard Shift Zombie Shooting Range, and attempt to escape the clutches of an evil clown in No Name's Clown Chaos — a dark maze experience.

BRDG Project, in close partnership with curator, friend and neighbor Arlette Lucero, is bringing a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration back to the Northside! The event includes an art exhibition featuring 30 of the finest local artists from Denver’s Chicano(a) community, as well as the Calaveras Masquerade Ball! The art show opens with a free public reception on October 11. The Calaveras Masquerade Ball is a ticketed event on October 25, with live music, dancing, face painting, storytelling and other delights!
