The Mile High City is an outdoor adventure and pro sports paradise.

In the summer, locals and visitors enjoy and biking along the area’s hundreds of miles of trails, playing a few rounds of golf, or simply strolling through one of the city’s many parks. Get your feet wet kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding, or perfect your cast on a guided fly-fishing tour.

For some winter fun, enjoy downhill skiing or snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, as well as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and even snowmobiling. There’s also plenty of indoor adventure to be had no matter the season, from escape rooms and arcades to bocce, bowling and billiards.

Just make sure to leave some time in your schedule to cheer on local pro sports teams, like the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth or Colorado Rapids.
