Outdoor Movie Series on Founders Green @ Stapleton

Grab a blanket and a lawn chair for the Outdoor Movie Series on Founders Green @ Stapleton (29th Ave. and Roslyn St.). Films are free and begin at dusk. Concessions benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Summer Drive-In Movie Series at Northwest Open Space

For four Wednesday nights each summer, Northwest Open Space (2100 W. 112th Ave., Northglenn) invites the community to gather for a free outdoor movie. Movies begin at dusk, and each vehicle must register prior to the event, as it is limited to 30 cars at each show.

Film in the Park in Highlands Ranch

Produced by the Highlands Ranch Community Association, this annual film series features free movies at Civic Green Park (9370 S Ridgeline Blvd., Highlands Ranch) on select nights in August. Shows start around dusk and blankets and lawn chairs are welcome!

Movies in the Park in Westminster

Watch your favorite, family-friendly films on a giant, outdoor screen for free! Activities and food concessions start at 7 p.m., and films start at dusk. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy the show. Each night is hosted in a different Westminster park!

Avanti F&B is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse Denver to host a new summer movie series every Thursday at 9 p.m. Bring your own lawn chair and New Belgium Brewing will give you a free beer! Special movie-night menus will be provided by Lea Jane's Hot Chicken and Meta Asian Kitchen.

Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks

One of Denver's top summertime events, Film On The Rocks lets you enjoy blockbuster entertainment on the big screen in the incomparable setting of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The great cinema is just the beginning of the fun. Each Film On The Rocks event features an opening comedian and band as well as fun, audience participation contests. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., bands begin playing at approximately 7 p.m. and movies start at dusk. Tickets are $15.

Dive-In Movies at Elitch Gardens

After a day of fun at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park, unwind with a "dive-in" movie at Island Kingdom Water Park. Movies begin around 7:30 p.m. on Friday nights and are free with any park admission or season pass.

Southlands (6155 S. Main Street, Aurora) includes a four-block Main Street and community plaza surrounded by shops and restaurants. During the summer, when the sun goes down, the big screen goes up, with Movies on the Square beginning at dusk.

This family-friendly series features free music and a movie on Friday nights in August in downtown Golden's Parfet Park (10th St. and Washington Ave.). Music begins at 7 p.m. and movies start at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.

Monday Movie Madness at Infinity Park

Enjoy free flicks in Glendale this summer during Monday Movie Madness at Infinity Park (4599 E. Tennessee Ave., Glendale). As has become tradition, viewers have voted on and chosen the movies that will be shown this year, and it's a mix of recent box office hits combined with several classic favorites. Best of all, it's free! Gates open at 6:30 p.m.; movie starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Denver Mart Drive In is Denver's urban outdoor theater with the largest state-of-the-art digital screen in the region, FM transmission for audio, an indoor café and restrooms. Enjoy first-run double features of PG/PG-13 movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Some of this year's films include The Goonies, Indiana Jones and the Radiers of the Lost Ark, Sonic the Hedgehog, Jumanji: The Next Level and Bloodshot. 

88 Drive-in Theatre in Commerce City

The 88 Drive In Theatre is the last remaining original drive-in in the Denver metro area and has been serving the community since 1972. Watch blockbuster movies on a giant screen and enjoy delicious snacks from the historic Snackbar. Up first this summer are Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Fantasy Island!
