There's no better way to spend a cool summer night in The Mile High City than enjoying a great movie in the great outdoors, whether on a blanket in the grass or from the comfort of your car.
One of Denver's top summertime events, Film On The Rocks lets you enjoy blockbuster entertainment on the big screen in the incomparable setting of Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre. This year's Film on the Rocks will be a new, drive-in experience! Every car will receive a concessions package including two bottles of Coca-Cola product, City Pop popcorn, and theater-sized M&M’s and Twizzlers. In addition, Chick-Fil-A is available for discounted pre-purchase online or cashless payment on-site. Gates open at 6 p.m. and movies start at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $59.50 per car.

Bierstadt Lagerhaus is set up with all social-distancing measures in place, with tables spread throughout the entire Beer Hall. Come early to get the best seats, because only 50 people will be allowed in for each film — first come, first served. Movies are free, and beer and munchies will be available for purchase, so bring your appetite!

Join Ironton Distillery & Crafthouse for an outdoor summer movie series in their new backyard space. Enjoy themed cocktails and nibbles at each show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and movies will begin at dusk. Tickets are $5 per person and 100 percent of ticket sales will go to Big City Mountaineers, a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of under-resourced kids by getting them outdoors on wilderness expeditions. Advanced tickets are required and guests must bring their own chair or blanket and set up on a marked "x" to ensure social distancing.

The Dairy Arts Center in Boulder has turned arthouse cinema for the summer! Movies will start when it is dark, so please arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. so that you can get a parking space. Tickets are $25 per car and must be purchased in advance.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATERS
The Denver Mart Drive In is Denver's urban outdoor theater with the largest state-of-the-art digital screen in the region, FM transmission for audio, an indoor café and restrooms. Enjoy first-run double features of PG/PG-13 movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Some of this year's films include "The Goonies," "Radiers of the Lost Ark," "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Jumanji: The Next Level," "Grease," "Dirty Dancing" and "Bloodshot."
The 88 Drive In Theatre is the last remaining original drive-in in the Denver metro area and has been serving the community since 1972.
