VISIT DENVER is a private, nonprofit trade association that is responsible for marketing metro Denver as a convention and leisure destination. The Bureau is contracted by the City & County of Denver to act as the official marketing agency for Denver. It is governed by a Board of Directors and employs a staff of more than 50 professionals.
VISIT DENVER is driven by its volunteer Board leadership and the members of its volunteer committees play an important role.
From strategic input on how to enhance the mission of bringing more conventions and leisure visitors to Denver for the economic benefit of the City and the community, to enhancing partner benefits and improving the quality of life of the community through tourism, the Board plays an active role in the organization and broader community.
Convention & Tourism Advisory Committee
Actively reviews and provides input on strategies and best practices to grow the number of conventions and leisure visitors to Denver.
Government & Community Affairs Committee
Provides input, support and guidance for VISIT DENVER in order to effectively liaison with industry leaders, federal, state, and local government, as well as with residents, neighborhoods, community leaders, and civic organizations in metro Denver.
Roadmap & Strategic Partnerships Committee
Oversees implementation, directs the communications, and provides strategic direction of Denver Tourism Roadmap initiatives across all Board committees and among diverse stakeholders and provides input on strategies to increase membership engagement, interaction and involvement.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board Committee
Supports and engages staff with strategic planning, programmatic initiatives and opportunities to enable structural social change for the benefit of VISIT DENVER, partners and our community.
