Convention & Tourism Advisory Committee (CTAC)

The committee meets every other month (Meetings scheduled in the “off” months for VISIT DENVER Board meetings)

• Review and provide input on convention and tourism sales and marketing initiatives.
• Receive and provide input on periodic updates on critical development projects in the city, e.g. 16th St. Mall, Denver International Airport and others. 
• Continue to monitor Downtown environment. Receive regular updates from the Downtown Action Team, DDP’s Security Action Plan and the Mayor’s Safety Plan. 
• Initial review of annual Longwoods Visitor Profile Research results, Return on Investment (ROI) studies and other research as appropriate.
• Provide guidance on and assist with implementation of Denver Tourism Roadmap initiatives as they pertain to the CTAC.
• Provide guidance for a variety of ROI measurements for Bureau sales and marketing programs.
• Provide input for the annual Marketing Plan, including tourism and convention sales situation analysis and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT).       
• Provide input on and assistance with the Tourism Improvement District (TID) regarding budget, marketing, programming and ROI reports.
• Review DEI efforts related to marketing and conventions.
