Roadmap & Strategic Partnerships Committee

The committee usually meets quarterly or as needed.

  • Oversee implementation, direct the communication, and provide strategic direction of Denver Tourism Roadmap initiatives across all Board committees and among diverse stakeholders
  • Provide input on strategies to increase membership engagement, interaction and involvement
  • Recommend partnerships, best practices and resources to communicate the value and impact of destination organizations to their leadership, stakeholders and community
  • Evaluate current VISIT DENVER partnerships and identify potential future partners
  • Develop strategies for creating new, broader and non-traditional partnerships
  • Working with staff, assist in the prioritization and development of advocacy related efforts including, but not limited to, social impacts, workforce challenges and issues of cleanliness and safety downtown
  • Develop programs for stakeholders to enhance awareness and understanding of the role tourism and VISIT DENVER play in the local and statewide economy and offer opportunities for participation as appropriate
  • Explore additional options for increased private dollar revenue generation
  • Provide input to a partnership committee comprised of staff and partner representatives from all industry segments to maintain and increase partner participation
  • Assist Nomination Committee with Board development activities
