Denver’s music scene rivals such cities as Los Angeles and New York, in terms of opportunities to catch live music. Coming from out of town, the sheer number of concerts is undoubtedly overwhelming, so to simplify things, we've compiled a list of the must-see Denver shows. Many of these are exclusive to the region.
May 27 & 28, 2024 - Maggie Rogers @ Red Rocks
Maggie Rogers is heading back to Red Rocks for another round this summer. As a generational voice, the “Don’t Forget Me” singer’s performances last year were nothing short of transcendent and even if she tried her best, there's nothing forgettable about Maggie Rogers.

Pop-punk stalwarts All Time Low are pop-punk legends, and this year they are celebrating 20 years of skin in the game at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Riding the pop-punk resurgence, their timing couldn’t be better to let it rip like it used to back in the days of studded belts, black eyeliner and Myspace Top 8.
June 14 & 15, 2024 - Zach Bryan @ Empower Field at Mile High
Zach Bryan may just be the name on everyone’s lips, at least in the country world that is. But genre be damned, Bryan has become a crossover sensation with his earnest songwriting and admirable character that has run him up the Billboard charts on track to becoming a household name, if he isn’t already. Hell, he’s playing at Empower Field – we think this is what “making it” looks like.
June 15, 2024 - Russ @ Ball Arena
Prolific Millennial rapper Russ heads back to Ball Arena following last year’s consistent effort, SANTIAGO. His arena sell-out reputation, aided by his extremely loyal and fervent fan base shall make his upcoming stop no different.
June 17, 2024 - Megan Thee Stallion @ Ball Arena
Megan Thee Stallion is finally going on her first headline tour, and it's straight to the arenas for this star. One of the principal female emcees on the scene, Megan Thee Stallion has more than just her “body-ody-ody” to thank for that. Her battle-ready rhymes and her ability to embody the cultural zeitgeist have made her a household name and sound even better in an arena.
June 17, 2024 - Parcels @ Red Rocks
Parcels’ lone 2024 U.S. tour date is at none other than Red Rocks. For the tightly synced Australian disco-rock outfit, it’s more than a night at the iconic venue, it's their largest U.S. show to date and surely the launching point for their full-stop takeover. This one might just be history in the making.
June 20, 2024 - The Rolling Stones @ Empower Field at Mile High
The Rolling Stones make their heavily anticipated return to Denver this summer. If you couldn’t tell by the sudden increase of memorabilia and their notorious logo splattered upon sidewalks and emblazoned on Empower Field’s facade for a time, it’s a big deal. Truly no one, outside of Paul McCartney, does it like them, so when the opportunity to go presents itself you’ve got to go.
June 25 & 26, 2024 - Noah Kahan @ Fiddler’s Green
One of folk music’s newest and brightest stars, Noah Kahan, continues his amazing hot streak following last year’s very sold-out run at Red Rocks. This time around he’s covering an astonishing two nights at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater, and by the sound of its rapid sale, “Stick Season” is far from over.
June 27, 2024- Diana Ross @ Red Rocks
Legendary R&B/soul chanteuse Diana Ross is set to bring a diamond-studded legacy tour to The Mile High City. The icon, embarking on her Beautiful Love Performances Tour is known for her generationally beloved love songs, from saccharine “Love Hangover” to the Marvin Gaye duet, “Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)” – this show is strictly for the lovers.
June 27, 2024 - blink-182 @ Red Rocks
Newly reunited and it feels good. Blink-182 are whole again, with their original lineup and back to their old ways. Coming out just as electric and banter-filled as their younger days, Blink-182 are banging those power chords and coming-of-age anthems with the fervor of their twenty-something younger selves. Time away apart has only made them sharper and a little bit crazier too.
June 27 & 28, 2024 - Morgan Wallen @ Empower Field at Mile High
At this point, Morgan Wallen is a bona fide superstar. His 2021 album, "Dangerous: The Double Album" seems to live in the Billboard Top Ten, and he crushed all of 2023 with his inescapable hit, “Last Night.” Now, the country titan is playing stadiums in what seems like an overnight success, but if you’ve been paying attention, it also has felt inevitable.
June 30, 2024 - Nas w/ The Colorado Symphony @ Red Rocks
One of hip-hop's most storied emcees adds a bookmark to his illustrious career with his imminent collaboration with The Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks this summer. The Colorado Symphony with any artist is a treat, but there's just something about recreating soul-sampled, hearty hip-hop and recontextualizing it with classical music that just hits even more.
June 30, 2024 - Pixies & Modest Mouse @ Fiddler’s Green
Well, if this isn’t an indie rock fever dream. Pixies, Modest Mouse and even Cat Power all joining forces for a night at Fiddler’s Green is a time capsule to the angst-ridden, festival-frequenting days of our youth, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

With his Madison Square Garden run ending, Billy Joel is stepping out. Not only with his first new song, “Turn the Lights Back On” in literal decades, the pianist and crooner is also turning his sights on the road. Heading to Denver for the first time since 2019, Billy Joel will bring his timeless turns to Coors Field once again. What’s more timeless than a summer night with Billy Joel at the helm? Sing us a song ‘Piano Man.’
July 16, 2024 - Missy Elliott w/ Ciara, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland @ Ball Arena
It’s mind-boggling to think that in 2024 Missy Elliott is heading out on her first ever headline tour. Truly the epitome of better late than never, the “Out of This World Tour” as it’s been dubbed is bringing an all-star cast of Ciara, Busta Rhymes and even Timbaland to round out a tour de force of talent. This one is a knockout - ooh, ahh, Missy can sock it to us.
July 18, 2024 - Dr. Dog @ Red Rocks
Dr. Dog’s days of touring full-stop may be over, but they are far from done as evidenced by their forthcoming Red Rocks debut. Their only date of 2024, one which will see fans far and wide descend upon The Mile High City, will be rare no doubt, for any fan who believes they’d never be able to see their favorite band again.
July 19, 2024 - Vampire Weekend @ Red Rocks
Indie-rock stalwarts, Vampire Weekend are back and more thought-provoking than ever on their newest LP, Only God Was Above Us. The intricately dialed-back affair is another critically acclaimed notch on the belt of their near-spotless discography. Heading back to Red Rocks at this point in their career is 16 years in the making – a career-spanning celebration, if you will, and a great one at that, with more to come.
July 22, 2024 - Jennifer Lopez @ Ball Arena
Jennifer Lopez is back, potentially with the last album of her career and a bigger — truer statement of self-discovery in tow. The album, film, and tour all dubbed This Is Me...Now, acts as an exclamation point on a long and well-loved career through the mediums from the Latina icon.
July 23, 2024 - Chris Brown @ Ball Arena
Modern R&B trailblazer Chris Brown brings his staggering amount of hits on an arena outing for the “11:11 Tour.” If we are making wishes, one could only wish that Chris Brown gives nothing but the hits, in one of his biggest tours to date. Or, at least we hope.
July 27, 2024 - Sublime, Stick Figure and Ziggy Marley @ Fiddler’s Green
Sublime’s resurgence takes their namesake to task, with Jacob Nowell picking up where his late father left off for some huge dates this year, and Fiddler’s Green happens to be one of them Joining the highly slated Sublime reunion is heavy hitters Stick Figure and Ziggy Marley, for what is an essential concert this summer for fans of ska and reggae, and sun-kissed music in general.
July 29 & 30, 2024 - Santana and Counting Crows @ Ball Arena
Santana and Counting Crows is like a peanut burger on a hamburger, an unlikely, and slightly challenging combination that proves delicious. These two well-traversed and ever-endearing acts bring decade-spanning songs and no shortage of hits between them particularly the nostalgia for their work from the late-90’s into the early aughts.

Hot off of their first tour in more than seven years, Pretty Lights continues the streak he re-launched at Mission Ballroom last year, with a victory lap at Red Rocks. Over two consecutive nights, these two shows are as close to the peak Pretty Lights experience one can have outside of traveling back to 2018, one of the last times he played the famed venue. It’s a classic Colorado moment – getting the band back together for old-time sake, and that’s what it’s all about.
Aug 3, 2024 - Foo Fighters @ Empower Field at Mile High
The Foo Fighters are poised to make their grand return to stadiums all across the country following the untimely passing of lauded drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Dave Grohl and the gang are ensuring the show goes on not just for their sake and the fans, but because it’s what Hawkins would’ve wanted. To that, there is no greater tribute.
Aug 9, 2024 - Peso Pluma @ Ball Arena
Peso Pluma, the newest Latino hitmaker to explode onto this scene, is coming through Ball Arena on the heels of a remarkable year. With a particular penchant for penning tunes heavily influenced by regional Mexican music, Peso Pluma has secured major slots at huge festivals like Coachella and sold hundreds of thousands of tickets along the way. With a rise this huge, you’ll want to get in on the action.
Aug 14 & 15, 2024 - The Revivalists + Spoon @ Red Rocks
The Revivalists are eyeing a reprise of their annual Red Rocks foray, but this time they are bringing indie heavyweights, Spoon, along for the ride. Roots rock and an indie great back-to-back? Sounds like a mid-aughts fever dream — we’re in!
Aug 22, 2024 - Five Finger Death Punch w/ Marilyn Manson @ Ball Arena
The quagmire of Marilyn Manson returning to the stage after a string of tumultuous years is sure to elicit no shortage of strong reactions, but the biggest is the mere fact that this concert is indeed happening. Joining Five Finger Death Punch, Manson aims to pick up where he left off and go pound for pound with the metal heavyweights on what is sure to be an explosive return to the limelight. Curiosity may kill the cat on this one, and to that we say Godspeed.
Aug 23 & 24, 2024 - Dave Matthews Band @ Fiddler’s Green
Dave Matthews Band jam on in a welcome return to Fiddler’s Green for the summer hurrah tradition of their communal live shows. While not an annual event, their return is a cherry atop the dog days of summer, where the stars align, magic happens, and it looks a lot like a cold beer in the grass and a whole lot of reminiscing as soundtracked by this iconic outfit.

Following up their star-studded Hella Mega Tour of 2021, Green Day is back on the road but this time, with the no less impactful Smashing Pumpkins. Two rock titans meeting in the middle, and Green Day’s plans to perform American Idiot and Dookie front to back is a chef’s kiss of a pairing.
Sept 9, 2024 - Incubus - @ Ball Arena
Incubus take a trip down memory lane with their seminal album, "Morning View," which is inching closer and closer to a 25th Anniversary. Speaking of celebrations, Incubus are reigning it in with some major shows, Denver included as the band assumes the Ball Arena stage for an arena blowout.
Sept 15, 2024 - Kacey Musgraves w/ Father John Misty @ Fiddler’s Green
Kacey Musgraves has settled comfortably into the groove of the ever-reliable career she’s built for herself, as a country crossover who is equally an increasingly genreless white whale. Not to mention, Musgraves’ fandom is huge and ever-supportive as she embarks on her second arena tour, a feat which she has earned off her charisma and instant relatability.
Sept 17 & 18, 2024 - USHER @ Ball Arena
Fresh off Super Bowl Halftime Show duties, USHER blasts to two nearly sold-out nights at Ball Arena for his Past, Present and Future tour. This outing is years in the making of a grand comeback tour for one of R&B’s principal hitmakers that not only included the Super Bowl but a wildly successful residency in Vegas and a resurgence in his influential discography.
Sept 17 & 18, 2024 - Mitski @ Red Rocks and Fiddler’s Green
In indie rock, no one is touching the domination of Miski. A beneficiary of the critical blogosphere, Mitski has also been able to harness the power of the internet with a never-ending spell of virality, most recently with the exponential TikTok ascension of “My Love Mine All Mine.” Gen-Z will be out full throttle for this one.
Sept 24, 2024 - The Black Keys @ Ball Arena
The Southern-tinged rock and roll of the Black Keys once again strikes a chord in Denver, as they return to Ball Arena this Fall. With their blues rock brigade once again firing on all cylinders, at an astonishing 20 years and 12 albums into their extremely influential career, you’re catching an increasingly modern rarity of a band who are deep enough in their discography to do anything they want, and young enough to still bust the doors down.
Sept 27, 2024 - Hans Zimmer @ Ball Arena
Hans Zimmer may be one, if not the most popular contemporary composer of the modern age. His repertoire of film work alone reads as a menagerie of cultural zeitgeists throughout the years of his magnificent career. For such a great career, he plans to do it justice by hitting the road with an 18-piece live band and full orchestra. What else can you expect from someone of this Oscar-award-winning caliber?

Viking-influenced Norwegian band Wardruna has a wild show planned for Red Rocks. With their non-traditional instruments, costumes and overabundance of lore, Wardruna will be a storied performance, to say the least. Not only that, but it’s refreshing to see a group relish in the past with such authenticity and admiration, that it turns into something unique and spellbinding.
Oct 5 & 6, 2024 - LSZEE: CLOZEE + LSDREAM @ Red Rocks
Two of Bass Music’s breakout stars are teaming up for an explosive collaboration. LSZEE the collective moniker, will see the coming together of LSDREAM and CLOZEE for not just a performance but a full album coming in 2024 as well. Brace your neck, because you’ll be riding the rail anywhere within earshot of this blowout.
Oct 8, 2024 - Meghan Trainor @ Red Rocks
Pop-star to the moms and certified Tik-Tok sensation, Meghan Trainor is coming to Red Rocks with radio-friendly doo-wop bops this season. The “All About That Bass” singer is bringing no shortage of throwback power with Natasha Bedingfield, and “Got To Be Real” sample star, Paul Russell. A Tik-tok conglomerate if you will, for the whole family, filled with virality.

Seasonal Colorado resident and trance titan, TIESTO brings a rare whopping four-hour DJ set he’s dubbed “Prismatic” to Red Rocks as one of the season’s latest but still one of the most anticipated performances of the year. The superstar DJ, who is a figurehead at festivals and clubs across the globe doesn’t frequent classic live music venues in the same way, and for one of those few and far between occasions to be Red Rocks, makes one think that this performance will surely be one for the books.
