A Taste Of Colorado

WHERE: Civic Center Park, Broadway and Colfax Ave.

More than 500,000 people make the free A Taste of Colorado the focus of their Labor Day Weekend. Enjoy the offerings of more than 50 area restaurants and food trucks. Rock out to live music from big-name acts. Bring the kids to the KidzStage, featuring magic, clowns and puppets. Ride some classic carnival rides all weekend long.

The Book of Mormon

WHERE: Ellie Caulkins Opera House

THE 1989 WORLD TOUR - Taylor Swift

WHERE: Pepsi Center

One of the biggest stars in the world will be in The Mile High City for two nights this summer! Taylor Swift and her much-hyped "1989" world tour will play two shows at the Pepsi Center. Special guest Vance Joy, whose hit song "Riptide" was recently covered by Taylor, is supporting all North American dates.

WHERE: Dick's Sporting Goods Park

Denver's Dick's Sporting Goods Park has got one of the most popular jam bands in the world for three nights this Labor Day weekend. Phish have earned a wildly devoted following over the past 20 years, thanks to the guitar heroics of Trey Anastasio, an always-unpredictable live show and unparalleled instrumental interplay.

Mt Evans
Just 60 miles west of Denver, it's the highest paved road in North America. A day trip to the top is a journey that climbs to the 14,264-foot summit of Mount Evans. After Labor Day, it generally closes to motorists due to snow.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

WHEN: September 3 - 6
WHERE: Coors Field

Come out to cheer on your Colorado Rockies as they take on the San Francisco Giants at downtown Denver's classic ballpark, Coors Field.

Colorado State Fair

WHEN: September 4 - 7
WHERE: Colorado State Fairgrounds

Don't miss your last chance to enjoy nonstop entertainment during one of the largest pro rodeos in the country. The Colorado State Fair includes a livestock and horse show, parades, country concerts, an arts exhibition, a fiesta weekend, and an electrifying carnival at the Pueblo Fairgrounds.

Brian Regan

WHERE: Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre

In February 2014, Regan performed two sold-out shows at the 12,500-seat Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, and in August of 2013, Regan sold out the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Kevin Hart

Since his first appearance on the big screen in 2002, Kevin Hart has been in more than 30 movies, including two stand-up specials, "Laugh At My Pain" and "Let Me Explain." Now, Hart is getting back on the stage for his new comedy tour, "What Now?" The North American tour will stop in Denver for one night only.

Discover Denver's thriving creative community during a First Friday celebration, held every first Friday of the month, during which galleries in Denver's art districts stay open late for a festive, street party-like event.


WHERE: Denver Zoo
Explore the award-winning, traveling exhibit featuring life-size animal and plant sculptures created using LEGO® bricks. More than 35 sculptures will be on display throughout the Denver Zoo, representing animals found in both North America and abroad. In addition to showing guests how to connect with animals and nature through art, Denver Zoo staff members hope the exhibit will build a fondness among children for science, technology, engineering and math.

First time in The Mile High City? Free Saturdays are a great opportunity to explore Denver's vibrant arts and culture! The Denver Art Museum offers free general admission on the first Saturday of the month and includes locals and tourists. New for 2015, general admission to the Denver Art Museum is FREE to all youth ages 18 and under every day, granting more kids access to art than ever before.
