Five Points Jazz Festival

This free festival takes place annually and celebrates the history of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music’s legends such as Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and many more! At the forefront will be jazz music and the many hard-working and talented local jazz musicians featured on 10 outdoor and indoor stages.

Denver Chalk Art Festival

WHEN: June. 10–11, 2023
WHERE: Golden Triangle Creative District

This long-running Denver festival follows street painting traditions that originated in 16th-century Renaissance Italy when artists began transforming asphalt into canvas using chalk. This year more than 200 artists will be beautifying the streets in the Golden Triangle Creative District.  

Big Gear Show - Consumer Festival

Get ready outdoor enthusiasts, a special festival is coming to the Colorado Convention Center this summer. Juneteenth Music Festival 2023

Cherry Blossom Festival

Fans of taiko drumming, teriyaki chicken, sake and Japanese artwork and wares won't want to miss this year's Cherry Blossom Festival – "Sakura Matsuri" in Japanese. The annual event celebrates the Japanese heritage and culture through live entertainment, food and drink, a marketplace and informative exhibits and demonstrations.

2023 Denver PrideFest

WHEN: June 24–25, 2023

Denver PrideFest is a two-day festival that draws visitors from throughout the state of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. The weekend kicks off with the PRIDE5K on Saturday, followed by the Dyke March and the two-day Denver PrideFest at Civic Center Park. The Fest includes over 250 exhibitors, 30 food and beverage vendor, and live performances all weekend long. Sunday begins at 9:30 a.m. with colorful floats, marchers, music and much more at the annual Coors Light Denver Pride Parade. Thousands of cheering guests will line 14 blocks of Colfax Avenue from Cheesman Park to Civic Center, where the celebrations continue on day two of Denver PrideFest, starting with the Pride Rally

Underground Music Showcase 2023

Denver's largest, multi-day music festival will feature more than 700 discovery artists from Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region and national headliner acts, drawing more than 10,000 music lovers each day of the fest. High Plains Comedy Festival

Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival

Union Peak Festival

The largest gathering of the summer is back for a second year in a row at Copper Mountain. Union Peak Festival celebrates the convergence of sport, community and art with three days of live music performances, interactive art installations and booths, sports demonstrations and community gatherings. The Athlete’s Mountain will celebrate a weekend of elevated pursuits with interactive demos and active meetups including golf clinics, group mountain bike rides, fly fishing casting clinics, sunrise yoga and more. Trail runners are also invited to challenge their high-altitude lung capacity by participating in the Summit Up, a run on the mountain that will test even the most seasoned sprinter. 

33rd Annual Friendship Powwow

Denver Art Museum celebrates Native American art and culture with the 33rd Annual Friendship Powwow & Native American Cultural Celebration. Join the local Native community and enjoy music and dance performances. The celebration includes artmaking opportunities, local Native organizations selling fry bread and Indian tacos, as well as vendors showcasing jewelry, art, crafts, clothing and more. At 11 a.m., the Grand Entry, where all the dancers dance collectively, begins inside the new Sie Welcome Center in Sturm Grand Pavilion. This is a free day at the museum, so general admission is complimentary for all visitors.

Central City Plein Air Festival

Denver Zoo

Denver Botanic Gardens 

One of the top five botanic gardens in the nation, Denver Botanic Gardens is an oasis in the city, offering year-round events, a children’s garden, lifelong-learning opportunities and research to preserve Colorado’s precious natural resources. Meanwhile, Chatfield Farms, located in nearby Littleton, takes pride in its exemplary nature preserve and gardens.
