At The Source, Safta, from James Beard award-winning Chef Alon Shaya, pays homage to the culinary landscape of Israel, with small, shareable plates and a bevy of flavors of lovingly spiced hummus. Another favorite, El Five, offers stunning views of the city skyline and a colorful lineup of small dishes they’ve coined “Tapas de Gibraltar,” along with house-specialty paellas. Then there’s the perpetually lauded (and for good reason) Rioja, which has been serving up some of the freshest seafood and other Mediterranean fare in Larimer Square for nearly two decades.
