Denver’s Big Blue Bear

Denver’s Big Blue Bear

Perhaps Denver’s most iconic piece of art, the Blue Bear peering through the window at the Colorado Convention Center has welcomed millions of convention attendees and tourists since 2005. Officially named “I See What You Mean” by late local artist Lawrence Argent, the 40-foot-tall Blue Bear is curious and playful, and has become a beloved mascot for The Mile High City.
