After a more than 20-year relationship with Purple Haze as a glassblowing artist, Jennifer S. Levine returns with her paints. Contrary to the old adage, you CAN come home again. It's just that home changes for us because we change. Through our layers upon layers of experiences, our picture of life expands. The concept of layered experiences speaks to Levine's process in her paintings. Each piece is a story of layers, color and texture. For every color you see in her work, the entire canvas is covered in that color, which creates a type of bas relief of lines and shapes within the painting. Every color informs the entire composition, much like life and experiences.
