Colorado Auto Show

This premiere event will showcase the latest models of cars, trucks, SUVs, hybrids, and crossovers from both domestic and international manufacturers. Not only will you get to explore the newest models, but you’ll also get exclusive sneak peeks at concept cars, special editions and the latest in customized vehicles. RiNo Spring BAZAAR

Denver BAZAAR is back in the RiNo Art District for Spring BAZAAR, and this year, they're cracking open something special! This Easter Weekend, head to a market hatched for adventure, celebrating 80+ local vendors, springtime sips, live DJs and the launch of Clever Girl’s brand-new dinosaur installation. From Easter eggs to dino eggs, this free market is all about new beginnings, so come sip, shop and discover fresh finds from Denver’s best makers, all while immersing yourself in a prehistoric-meets-springtime eggstravaganza!

Spaced Out Music & Arts Festival 2025

La Primavera Festival

Head to the Museum of Outdoor Arts’ Marjorie Park for the 2nd annual La Primavera Festival! This family-friendly festival is inspired in part by the Gaelic Beltane celebration and European May Day, celebrating spring and summer to come. Enjoy a pancake brunch, live music by Tin Brother Quartet, Maypole dancing, craft stations such as flower crown-making and face painting, yard games, an art-themed scavenger hunt with prizes, and an adult beverages bar. 

Spring Vibe Market

Join Vibe Artisan Markets for the free Spring Vibe Market — the biggest two-day shopping event in Denver! The event will include 130+ artists, creatives and makers each day, local music creators, cocktail bars, art gallery featuring local artists, coffee VW Bus, food trucks with globally inspired cuisine, and RIVIAN demo drives. 

Día del Niño Celebration

WHEN: April 27, 2025
WHERE: Clyfford Still Museum
Join the Clyfford Still Museum for a free celebration of children worldwide during Día del Niño (Day of the Child). Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt to participate in an art-making session with artist Kristina Maldonado Bad Hand. Participants will create seed bombs. The Kinážiŋ project is a land-back activation of returning Indigenous plants to urban areas of Colorado through a clay sculpture containing seeds that is quite literally meant to return to the land. Kinážiŋ(Key-Na-Zi) means to return to where you were moved from in Lakota. Plus enjoy child-friendly dance performances by local groups on the forecourt!

Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival

WHEN: April 27, 2025
WHERE: 1300 Pearl St., Boulder
Spring officially arrives in Downtown Boulder when the beautiful, colorful Tulip Fairy — along with pint-sized fairies and elves — parades around the Pearl Street Mall "waking up the tulips." This much beloved springtime tradition features live performances, special activities for children and more than 15,000 tulips that adorn the world-renowned Pearl Street Mall.

Mile High Asian Food Week

WHEN: April 27–May 3, 2025
WHERE: Various restaurants
The week-long celebration, now in its third year, allows foodies to experience different cuisines and receive insider perks such as special discounts, secret menu items and specialty menus at participating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI)-owned businesses. New this year, AANHPI chefs and owners can showcase any cuisine of their choosing. More than 70 food and beverage vendors will be participating. See the website for more information.

SeriesFest: Series 11  

WHEN: April 30–May 4, 2025
WHERE: Various venues
This unique festival celebrates the art of independent TV series creation in the birthplace of cable television. The event showcases the best new pilots from across the globe by both seasoned and emerging content creators in an international, juried competition.

Cinco de Mayo Festival  

WHEN: May 3–4, 2025
WHERE: Civic Center Park
A weekend filled with food, fun and culture, this annual festival puts the spotlight on The Mile High City’s vibrant Latino population. With more than 300,000 attendees in Civic Center Park, it’s one of Denver's most fun and family-friendly events.

Denver Colfax Marathon  

WHEN: May 17–18, 2025
WHERE: City Park
Denver's only marathon is much more than a marathon with seven races over two days, including a half marathon. The full-length marathon follows seven miles of rivers, lakes and bridges.

Outside Festival

WHEN: May 31–June 1, 2025
WHERE: Civic Center Park

Now in its second year, this one-of-a-kind celebration of everything outdoors features music, films, speakers and gear. The festival is designed for beginners and experts alike, with experiences and inspiration for climbers, hikers, cyclists, skiers and everyday recreationists. The live music headliners are Khruangbin, Lord Huron, Sylvan Esso, Trampled by Turtles, Neal Francis, Waxahatchee, Husbands and Hazlett.

Troutfest Colorado

WHEN: May 31, 2025
WHERE: Coors Field
This one-of-a-kind summer festival will celebrate conservation and offer education and community. It’s for anglers, would-be anglers, outdoor enthusiasts or simply families looking for a fun and engaging day at Coors Field. There will be lots of exhibitors, clinics on fly tying and casting, and live music.

Denver Chalk Art Festival

WHEN: June 7–8, 2025

 Golden Triangle Creative District
Denver's most colorful event is returning to the Golden Triangle Creative District. See more than 200 artists transform the city streets into a museum, adorned in vivid pastel chalks. The two-day event is free.

Juneteenth Music Festival

One of the nation’s largest Juneteenth celebrations, look for a parade, live performances, art, vendors and fun for the entire family.

Denver Cherry Blossom Festival

Fans of taiko drumming, teriyaki chicken, sake and Japanese artwork and wares won't want to miss this year's Cherry Blossom Festival – "Sakura Matsuri" in Japanese. It's now going on 51 years.

Denver PrideFest

Colorado Black Arts Festival

This free annual celebration honors African American art and culture in the historic City Park West neighborhood. Enjoy live music, art shows, a marketplace and food court.

Bright Nights 

WHEN: Opens July 24, 2025
WHERE: Four Mile Historic Park
For 10 weeks, larger-than-life sculptures will illuminate the night across 12 acres at Four Mile Historic Park. The event is a collaboration with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., the largest producer of Chinese lantern festivals in North America.

Underground Music Showcase

25th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival

Farmers' Markets

The Mile High City's more than 20 farmers' markets aren't just about locally grown produce, delicious baked goods and prepared foods — though you'll find those in abundance! Each market is a festive, weekly street fair, many with live entertainment and family-friendly activities. 

Denver Zoo 

With over 3,500 animals on 84 gorgeous acres, Denver Zoo is an amazing experience year-round. Your donation helps to provide world-class care for the lions, giraffes and elephants, as well as other wild animals and wild places, from the Rockies to Mongolia.

Denver Botanic Gardens 

One of the top five botanic gardens in the nation, Denver Botanic Gardens is an oasis in the city, offering year-round events, a children’s garden, lifelong-learning opportunities and research to preserve Colorado’s precious natural resources. Meanwhile, Chatfield Farms, located in nearby Littleton, takes pride in its exemplary nature preserve and gardens. Located on 750 acres, this picturesque site includes display gardens and a historical farm with a rustic barn.

Denver's City Parks

No matter where you find yourself in The Mile High City, you’re likely only a few steps away from a lush and relaxing green space. Memorial Day weekend is the perfect time to explore Denver's more than 5,000 acres of traditional parks and parkways, as well as an additional 14,000 acres of spectacular mountain parks in neighboring counties that are maintained by the City and County of Denver.

Denver street artists have been busy brightening (and enlightening) the urban landscape for decades by making canvases of the city’s alleyways, building exteriors, warehouses, garage doors and storefronts. Grab your camera and take a stroll past some of the city's favorite murals. 

First Friday Art Walks

Galleries, studios and cultural attractions in Denver's art districts stay open late the first Friday of every month for a mind-expanding night of art, food, drink and fun. 

Civic Center EATS   

Every Wednesday and Thursday From May through October, Civic Center EATS transforms Civic Center Park into a lunchtime extravaganza with Denver's best food and fashion trucks and live music. It's your chance to savor a variety of cuisines while supporting our city's small local business scene and the Civic Center Conservancy's mission to restore and enhance Civic Center Park, Denver's only National Historic Landmark.
