Denver earned a spot among the top 25 destinations in Travel + Leisure’s Best Places to Travel in 2016 which credited The Mile High City’s new hotels, cultural attractions and culinary scene. An annual study by Allianz Global Assistance ranked Denver within the top ten spring break destinations in the U.S.(#6); and WalletHub named The Mile High City 8th in the Best Cities for Winter Travel. Denver also earned a top spot among AAA’s list of Top 10 summer destinations in 2016, and Travelocity agreed proclaiming Denver among its summer favorites as well due in part to its proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and nearly 300 National Landmarks within city limits.
