Denver receives accolades from far and wide, including some of the top meeting planners in the country. Read what others are saying about their meeting and conference planning experiences in Denver!
We chose Denver for our 2017 and 2021 meeting to give us a great, walkable urban location. In just one day our attendees can join us at the hotel for a networking breakfast, move to the convention center for a session, go out into the city for lunch and then take off into nature for an off-site tour in the afternoon!

I work with countless convention and visitors bureaus during the year, and hands down, VISIT DENVER was one of the best and most responsive CVBs. It’s really hard when I’m planning meetings in other cities because it only means I can’t work with VISIT DENVER. My Denver meeting was perfectly orchestrated, the board of directors I took loved the hotel suggestion as well as all the dinner places we visited. If there was anything I needed help with regarding suggestions or negotiations, VISIT DENVER was a huge help! If you are hesitant about going to Denver, I say go for it. You are in absolutely great hands, and you won’t regret it.

The service and assistance that you will receive from VISIT DENVER is unmatched anywhere else in the country. The city is laid out perfectly with thousands of sleeping rooms within walking distance to the convention center and easy-to-navigate public transportation. You will definitely see an increase in attendees who want to extend their stay to take advantage of everything Denver has to offer. No other location offers the perfect combination of great climate, ample meeting space, hotel proximity, limitless walkable dining and entertainment and affordability!

It has it all… A state-of-the art convention center, outstanding hotel community, infinite selection of restaurants and entertainment, diverse climate, and is one of the most walkable, clean and safe convention destinations in the U.S.! Denver’s favored location and international airport make it a meeting location that rivals other cities in terms of ease of travel. Denver ranked one of the highest destinations in AAD member/attendee satisfaction, and is now a regular city in our Annual Meeting rotation!

Our 15,000—mostly female—attendees loved how walkable and safe the city was and could not get enough of the fun, friendly options in the city. They thought the center was well organized, loved the great friendly service, and barely needed to pull out their maps to find their way! THAT’s a real accomplishment with our group! My team of planners loved it just as much. We had all the support we needed and felt great going in, and even better at the end of our meeting! Denver made US look good!

Or “This convention center would be so much easier with whom to work if they would take a look at Denver’s convention center.” I’ve often thought Denver should give training events on the value of great service to others interested in stepping up their programs. Keep it up Denver! It is always a breath of fresh air to have the opportunity to work with VISIT DENVER.

Whether it is dining, shopping or entertainment, the combination of our meetings with any of the hotel/convention/special event facilities the city has to offer make it a package that it tough to beat and one that our participants have come to enjoy any time they get to come to Denver.

The ease, convenience and affordability of flying in and out of Denver International Airport is a major attraction for our attendees. In addition, the downtown area offers so much in the way of restaurants, shopping and fun activities. In particular, the 16th Street Mall has a plethora of shops and restaurants within quick and safe walking distance of several hotels and the convention center. I know when booking Denver that we’ll have a successful meeting with survey results rating Denver as a top destination!
It’s a fantastic city that offers a very lively and walkable downtown with many nearby hotels. It showcases a myriad of restaurants, microbreweries, and cultural events that our attendees love. The 300 days of sunshine and views of the mountains draw attendees into the massive “playground”—golfing, hiking, biking, skiing—you name it. The energy in Denver is invigorating. I loved it so much, I moved here.
